    Re-opening to guests 4th July 2020

After a rather bleak period of isolation and stagnation which has weighed heavily on us all, Appleby Castle is delighted to announce that we shall be raising the portcullis once again on Saturday 4th July 2020!

We look forward to welcoming all who seek to stay and relax in the peace and quiet of our rural estate and in the safety of our ancient walls. Measures will be in place to ensure that all our guests can enjoy the freedom and tranquility that the countryside has to offer. Beauty, romance and peace awaits all those who stay at Appleby Castle.
